Industry-1 Minister receives Vice President of CMEC-IEC

YANGON, 6 Jan — Minister for Industry-1 U Aung Thaung received Mr Ding, Vice President of China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation - International Engineering Co Ltd (CMEC-IEC) and party at the ministry this morning.

Also present on the occasion were Deputy Minister Brig-Gen Thein Tun, the director-general and managing directors of the departments and industries.

Surgical operations performed at DSOH (500-bed)

YANGON, 6 Jan — Officiating Commandant of Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital (500-bed) Lt-Col Tun Tun, Adviser Prof U Thet Htar Wai, orthopedic and facial specialists are performing surgical operations together with Singaporean specialists of Plastic, facial and oral surgery at the DSOH (500-bed) up to 9 January.

The patients who have undergon surgery are in good health.
